Tähe-Lee Liiv (b. 11.11.2003) is an exceptional young Estonian pianist. She has won many national and international piano competitions, including the Estonian National Television’s live-broadcast talent show “Klassikatähed” (2020); Ninth Competition of Estonian Pianists (I Prize and two Special Prizes, Tallinn, 2019); International Gershwin Music Competition (II Prize, New York, 2019); Concerto Competition ‘Theodor Leschetizky’ for Gifted Young Pianists (I Prize, New York, 2019); Festival ‘Venice Music Masters’ (Guido Alberto Fano Prize, Italy, 2019) ec. Her teachers include Ivari Ilja, Konstantin Bogino, Hui-Ying Tawaststjerna, Dmitri Alexeev and Sir Andràs Schiff.
I am from Viimsi, small peninsula near Tallinn. I am third generation pianist in our family. Dedicated to music and besides that curious about life. I‘m studying in three different countries and I enjoy travelling. Have been to art school since little, also passionate about painting. Recently been interested in literature and theatre. Inspired by music, books, art and people.
